What is Owl Connect?
Owl Connect is Student Activities' involvement site that is used as the online hub for student organization information! Owl Connect's home page will have student org events and special announcements that are updated weekly by Student Activities, so make sure you log in frequently. We're thrilled to offer this new and improved resource to students, faculty, and staff alike to further enhance Temple's community!
Anyone can browse the Organization directory by category or search by keywords to find orgs and explore something new. After signing in, students can create their own profiles and rank their interests. Like Netflix, Owl Connect can match your interests to student organizations on campus to help you get involved. On the directory page, click "View Recommendations."
For Recognized Student Organizations
Recognized Student Organizations can customize their own homepage complete with engaging photos and news articles. They also can promote events and link their social media accounts. Completed profiles help interested students or orgs looking to collaborate find you! Tools such as texting, e-mail messaging, service hour tracking, rosters, etc. will help orgs stay organized and communicating effectively.
For University Departments
Since its launch in 2013, Owl Connect has earned over 1 million page views. University departments can increase their exposure to students by getting more involved on Owl Connect. To discuss how Owl Connect can benefit your department, contact Student Activities.
